Welcome to my website. My name is Janeine Bannister and I am a HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist and BPS Chartered Psychologist, based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. I am also a qualified Counsellor and Registered Member of BACP. I am trained to Doctoral level.
I have extensive experience working with children, teenagers and adults, having worked within the mental health field for over 20 years.
Since qualifying as a Psychologist, I have gained over 11 years experience of working within NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, within community, forensic and inpatient settings. I also have substantial experience working with adults with a very wide range of presenting issues. I have worked within inpatient acute mental health wards and psychiatric intensive care units (PICU) with children, young people and adults.
I offer psychological therapy to individuals and couples and also provide supervision to trainees and qualified professionals.
